Things are going well here at JAJAH, 2007 has been a great year for us because of you, your feedback and support is substantial in building beneficial communication services and has brought us where we are today. We are dedicated to provide you with affordable, easy to use, intuitive and reliable international calling and communication solutions like JAJAH Direct - simply dialing local and talking global.
Today we are pleased to announce
Microsoft’s acknowledgment in what we are doing by selecting us for the “Microsoft Startup Accelerator Program”.
“We are happy to have JAJAH in the Microsoft Startup Accelerator Program. The selection of JAJAH for this program demonstrates our belief that JAJAH is a company that has a compelling offering and has the potential for success in the market,”
says Beti Cung, Emerging Business Team Portfolio Manager for Microsoft.

Stewarded by the Emerging Business Team (EBT) at Microsoft Corp., the program is designed to connect high-potential startups committed to the Microsoft platform to an extensive support network that provides access to Microsoft people and programs, guidance on future directions, and support to accelerate their success.
“Microsoft is a valued partner in helping us deliver scalable managed voice services to millions of consumers, enterprises and carriers in over 122 countries,” said Trevor Healy, CEO of JAJAH. “JAJAH provides advanced IP voice services while always partnering with the telecommunications carrier in the local market. These next generation IP services are indispensable to carriers, whether on-the-web, in-the-home or on-the-go on Windows handsets.”
Microsoft is committed to serving as a valuable technology and business partner for emerging startups and their investors. Companies are selected to join the program based on their innovation, marketability, growth potential, funding, platform decision and strategic importance to Microsoft. These companies receive customized engagement plans designed to support their software development and increase market visibility. The program is open to interested startups, which can apply via a profiling process outlined at the Microsoft Startup Zone at www.microsoftstartupzone.com
The Microsoft EBT evaluates hundreds of technology startups each year to identify those with the strongest potential to succeed in the market, shape the industry’s future, and enhance the overall value of Microsoft products and services for customers. The Microsoft Startup Accelerator Program shines the spotlight on some of the most promising startups and provides good examples of how startups can work successfully with Microsoft.
Here is an interview with Microsoft corporate vice president Dan’l Lewin talking about the “Microsoft Startup Accelerator Program” and JAJAH:
At minute 5:10: “Jajah is a newer company doing some interesting things in and around VOIP and combining calls from local handset software. And they built, again, their platform technology as well as their client side doing a lot of work with Microsoft and our mobile platform asset. Sequoia-backed company, Mike Moritz is on the board. It’s a terrific company growing leaps and bounds in a hot area at the moment. And we’ve just begun the engagement with them in the last couple of months. So as their success unfolds beyond the normal here’s where we are with our product roadmaps and here’s how we can help you with the immediate technologies. As their plans unfold and their business starts to scale, we’ll be there and understand their need and bring value to the table there to help create business success for them on the other side.”
says Dan’l Lewin, Corporate VP, Strategic and Emerging Business Development at Microsoft.
